Ms. Stephanie Cheung is our executive vice president and chief legal officer and she was appointed to her current role in December 2008. Prior to that, she held the title of general counsel from November 2006, when she joined our Company. She has acted as the secretary to our board since she joined our Company. Prior to joining us, Ms. Cheung was an of counsel at Troutman Sanders from 2004 to 2006 and prior to that she practiced law with various international law firms in Hong Kong, Singapore and Toronto. Ms. Cheung graduated with a bachelor of laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1986 and a master’s degree in business administration from York University in 1994. Ms. Cheung is admitted as a solicitor in Ontario, Canada, England and Wales, and Hong Kong.
Mr. Geoffrey Stuart Davis is our executive vice president and chief financial officer and he was appointed to his current role in April 2011. Prior to that, he served as our deputy chief financial officer from August 2010 to March 2011 and our senior vice president, corporate finance from 2007, when he joined our Company. Prior to joining us, Mr. Davis was a research analyst for Citigroup Investment Research, where he covered the U.S. gaming industry from 2001 to 2007. From 1996 to 2000, he was the vice president of corporate communications for Park Place Entertainment, the largest gaming company in the world at the time. Park Place was spun off from Hilton Hotels Corporation and subsequently renamed Caesars Entertainment. Mr. Davis has been a CFA charter holder since 2000 and obtained a bachelor of arts from Brown University in 1991.
Ms. Akiko Takahashi is our executive vice president and chief officer, human resources/corporate social responsibility and she was appointed to her current role in December 2008. Prior to that, she held the title group human resources director from December 2006, when she joined our Company. Prior to joining us, Ms. Takahashi worked as a consultant in her own consultancy company from 2003 to 2006, where she conducted “C-level” executive searches for clients and assisted with brand/service culture alignment for a luxury hotel in New York City and where her last engagement prior to joining our Company was to lead the human resources integration for the largest international hospitality joint venture in Japan between InterContinental Hotels Group and ANA Hotels. She was the global group director of human resources for Shangri-la Hotels and Resorts, an international luxury hotel group headquartered in Hong Kong, from 1995 to 2003. Between 1993 and 1995, she was the senior vice president of human resources and service quality for Bank of America, Hawaii, FSB. She served as regional human resources manager for Sheraton Hotels Hawaii / Japan from 1985 to 1993. She started her hospitality career as a training manager for Halekulani Hotel. She began her career in the fashion luxury retail industry in merchandising, operations, training and human resources. Ms. Takahashi attended the University of Hawaii.
Mr. Jaya Jesudason is our executive vice president, construction and design. He joined our Company in 2007 as Project Director for the completion of the City of Dreams Project. Prior to that, he worked at Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation as a general manager of the west rail project and other rail projects. He was also a divisional manager for the Hong Kong airport project of the Hong Kong Airport Authority.
Mr. Frederic Jean-Marie Winckler is our executive vice president and chief marketing and brand officer and he was appointed to his current role in January 2017. Mr. Winckler is responsible for the marketing and branding of all of our Company’s consumer brands. Prior to joining our Company, Mr. Winckler served as global chief marketing officer for Louis Vuitton based in Paris. Mr. Winckler was awarded the Luxury Marketer of the Year in 2014. Prior to Louis Vuitton, Mr. Winckler served as chief executive officer of J. Walter Thompson Paris, having been with that organization for 22 years to lead its efforts in various countries for key luxury brand clients, including BMW and Rolex.
Mr. David Sisk is our Property President, Studio City and he joined our company as the current role on September 2016. Mr Sisk is a gaming industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in Las Vegas, Macau and Singapore. Before joining the Company, Mr. Sisk was the Chief Operating Officer with Resorts World Sentosa. He also worked at Caesars Palace and Wynn Las Vegas as Chief Financial Officer, and at Sands China, Limited as its Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Gabe Hunterton is our Property President, City of Dreams, Macau and he joined our company as the current role on January 2017. Mr. Hunterton is a seasoned gaming industry executive. His extensive and diverse gaming career in Las Vegas and Macau has spanned over 18 years. He is exceptionally knowledgeable of the Macau market and has a solid track record of producing remarkable results in Macau’s highly competitive market.
Mr. Andy Choy is our Property President, Altira Macau and Mocha and he joined our company as the current role on January 2017. Mr. Choy has over 10 years of direct involvement in a broad set of gaming industry disciplines. He has worked with the entire spectrum of properties from stand-alone local casinos to major Las Vegas Strip properties to international five-star integrated resorts. Prior to this new role, Mr. Choy served as the Chief Gaming Officer for Melco International, the single largest shareholder of Melco, with responsibility for the Melco Group's growth through development opportunities in the gaming sector. He has been listed as one of the "25 People to Watch 2017 in the Gaming Industry" by Global Gaming Business.
Mr. Geoff Andres is our Property President, City of Dreams Manila and he was appointed to his current role on November 2015. Mr. Andres was most recently the chief executive officer and executive director on the Board of Aquis Entertainment Limited in Canberra, Australia responsible for an existing casino, and assisting with the development and acquisition of additional casinos. Prior to this position, from September 2011 until April 2015, he was Senior Vice-President and General Manager of Sands Macau, responsible for its overall operations, including a casino with 300 tables and 1,100 slot machines, six restaurants and a 289-room hotel. From December 2010 to September 2011, he was Vice-President, Slots for all of Sands China Limited, including The Venetian Macao, Sands Macao, and The Plaza Macao, totalling 3,490 slot machines. Mr. Andres began his career with Harrah’s in 1988, and from June 2005 to December 2010, he was the Vice-President and General Manager for Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort in Arizona. He graduated from the University of Nevada with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1989, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration in 1994.
